About Me

Please describe your professional experience (this will be used on Therapist Finder)
I am a psychotherapist for children, adolescents, and families. Prior to becoming a therapist, my background as an educator for youth with ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities gave me insight into how biology and environment impact one's sense of self. My passion is helping clients develop authentic and compassionate relationships with themselves, and a greater awareness of the mosaic of forces that shape their lives. Since 2015, I have worked in a range of practice settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, residential treatment facilities, and community-based services. I have a keen interest in relational and other contemporary psychoanalytic theories because I believe they offer tools for understanding experiences of oppression at the intrapsychic, interpersonal, and structural levels.
