Please describe your professional experience (this will be used on Therapist Finder)
I received my Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University, and Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern California. I have worked as a psychotherapist and clinical social worker in community, outpatient, and inpatient settings. I currently run my private practice providing individual and group therapy to adults.
I am passionate about therapy as a means of healing trauma, generating resilience, and contributing to the development of collective wellness. I got my start as a social worker and therapist in anti-violence organizations, rape crisis centers, domestic violence agencies, and community organizing. Throughout my experiences and training, I’ve maintained a central focus on the experiences of queer, trans, and LGB+ community and survivors. I specialize in therapy for those impacted by interpersonal trauma and adverse childhood experiences, as well as supporting individuals from all walks of life to navigate depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, and a range of other experiences.
Originally from the desert southwest, I currently make my home on Tongva territory, also known as Los Angeles, California. I am an avid reader and find my deepest ease and joy in being outdoors.
