SAN DIEGO DISTRICT UPDATE & NETWORKING GATHERING

Dear San Diego District CSCSW members & interested colleagues,

We hope this email finds you and your loved ones well. During a time when many of us may be feeling disconnected and more than eager to get back to normal, your local steering committee wanted to take some time to check in. We acknowledge how difficult these times are for all of us and we hope that if we all continue to pull together to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we will be able to enjoy each others company soon. We miss being in the company of such amazing colleagues and aspiring social workers. We hope to see you soon whether it be back at JFS or virtually.

In these uncertain times we want to make sure you are up to date on what to expect from your local district as well as our society as a whole. As we do every year, the San Diego district will be taking a break for the summer. We will resume with an exciting line-up of CEU programs beginning in September 2020.  We will be kicking off the fall with a virtual, local district members only networking event on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 10:00-11:30 AM. This will be the 1st of its kind for our district so we hope you can make it! More details to come so stay tuned. While our district breaks for the summer, virtual CEU events are still available through CSCSW. These events are hosted by districts across the state, but available to all CSCSW members. We encourage you to stay engaged and take advantage of these CEU opportunities. Notifications and registration details are distributed monthly via email. These events can also be found on the Society website, clinicalsocialworksociety.org.
