Presenter: Paul Lesnik, LCSW
Description: Family Sculpture, largely developed by Virginia Satir, has its roots in Psychodrama, an action based therapy that allows participants to explore their Family of Origin through enactment. Attendees will create a Social Atom, an illustration of their network of connections in their Family of Origin world and then have the opportunity to see a volunteer put the world of their family in action. Presentation is both didactic and heavily experiential.
This course meets the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Note: With supervisor approval, registered ASWs may use CEs toward LCSW hours.
