Let’s talk about how to ethically negotiate difficult terminations and transitions in your career with yourself or those you supervise. This is a great chance to cover this topic with a dynamic speaker who is well versed in the legal language. This workshop fills Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements for license maintenance. Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of the presentation participants will be able to:

  1. Participants will be able to identify and describe the four elements of malpractice causes of action.
  2. Participants will be able to recognize at least three new developments in laws governing supervision of ASWs.
  3. Participants shall be able to articulate at least three advantages and disadvantages to online therapy, while knowing how to respond to the disadvantages with caution.
  4. Participants will be able to recognize and know how to respond to at least three ethical issues involving important practice transitions (i.e., retirement, death, etc.).
