Title: Pharmacological and Non Pharmacological Treatment Options in Psychiatry

Announcing the next CSCSW San Diego Chapter CEU program and networking opportunity. As usual, our meeting will be held on the first Thursday of the month, February 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 at the new Jewish Family Service building, 8788 Balboa Avenue (adjacent to the 8804 building) in Kearny Mesa. The meeting will begin with a half hour of mingling, networking, and community building, followed by our program. This program meets the requirements for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, and LCSWs as specified by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; CEUs are FREE to our members, $15 for non-members.

Presenter: Brian Miller, M.D.

Dr. Miller will identify common pharmacologic treatment options including indications and side effects. He will discuss available treatment options and determine how to refer for additional intervention. He will also review new and emerging treatments in psychiatry.
