“Make Your Job Easier: Effective Psychotherapy Facilitates Self Adaptability – Skills and Co-Guided Experiences from the Brain-Mind-Body Self Adaptability Frame”
Presented By: Adrianne Casadaban, Ph.D
Overview:
This presentation of my groundbreaking dynamic Brain-Mind-Body Self Adaptability Frame is designed to start clinicians immediately using practical psycho-education, co-guided corrective experiences, and skills. This understanding can help psychotherapists plan and carry out additional components of a treatment plan which address more complex psychotherapy needs of clients with multiple or difficult-to-treat diagnoses or who have not responded to single method work, such as those including complex trauma, ADHD, dissociative, manic, disordered personality, severe anxiety/panic/phobic, developmental/attachment trauma, and addictive-like-conditioned symptoms/problems.
Goals/ Objectives:
1. As a result of this course participants will be able to describe at least 4 broad types of self adaptive experiences to stabilize clients– both lessening symptoms and increasing strengths.
2. As a result of this course participants will be able to name at least 3 ways of facilitating clients to shift/build desired future adaptations and/or improved executive functioning integration and/or regulation.
3. As a result of this course you will be able to identify at least 4 broad ways to facilitate clients to co-guide their own adaptability to release, reprocess, and/or now meet-needs of original experiences stuck responding in maladaptive or unwanted ways to conditions/stimuli of the present, past, or anticipated/desired future.
